Every Blog Has a Story, Here's Mine
Growing up, I was always surrounded by stories, my dad’s captivating tales and my brother’s playful exaggerations.
In a noisy house with six siblings, I had to carve out my own voice. At home, I was expressive, but outside, I was quiet, more of a listener than a talker.
For a long time, I feared I’d never be able to express myself the way I truly wanted. I stumbled over my words, missed the timing on jokes, and often kept my thoughts to myself.
Then the COVID-19 pandemic gave me an unexpected gift: space and time to reflect. It led me to discover an outlet that fit, this blog.
Here, I get to write. And through writing, I’ve found my voice.
Each post helps me put thoughts into shape, stories into motion, and humor into something that actually lands (most times, anyway). My writing is where I feel most at peace, where I feel seen, even without being loud.
This blog is my calm, funny, sometimes confused, sometimes wise voice in a noisy world. It reflects where I’ve been, where I am, and where I hope to go. It’s also a mirror, of how alike we are in many ways, and yet how beautifully different.
I write to understand life a little better, and maybe, to help you do the same.
I hope something here speaks to you. And if it does, maybe you’ll share your story, too.
